How we prepare donated devices
Every device that comes in through our donation program is evaluated by our technicians. When possible, we repair the unit, wipe or replace the hard drive, and reinstall the operating system. The goal is to get each device to a functional, usable state before it goes to someone who needs it. Devices that cannot be brought to a usable condition are recycled rather than passed on.
